ENGLISH

Jacksonville has had an active sister city program since 1967.
The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association (JSCA) is a member
of Sister Cities International, which was formed in 1956 by
President Dwight David Eisenhower.

At JSCA, we all share a common goal: To create and nurture
partnerships between citizens in Jacksonville and those in
our eight Sister Cities:

- Bahia Blanca, Argentina

- Curitiba, Brazil

- Changwon City, South Korea

- Murmansk, Russia

- Nantes, France

- Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, South Africa

- San Juan, Puerto Rico

- Yingkou, China

JSCA sponsors a variety of business, cultural, educational,
and professional exchanges with its twinned cities.

Our organization is a member of Sister Cities International, whose mission is to “promote peace through mutual respect, understanding, & cooperation – one individual, one community at a time.” Our motto is "Peace Through People" and we strive to achieve this daily.
