JAX COMMUNITY FAIRS
Sinve 2002 the Jax Community Fair has been a link between companies who offer services to our community and the residents of Jacksonville "We have had the constant support of larger companies such as Mayo Clinic, JEA, Baptist Health, Island Doctors, UF Health Dedicated Senior, nonprofits such as Elder Source, Three Grains of Rice, Bible Foundation and Volunteers in Medicine among others and the City of Jacksonville's Health Department." Commented Arlene Ortiz Founder and organizer of the Jax Community Fair.
On previous years the Jax Community Fair has reached out mainly to the Hispanic Community but this year they are expanding their reach to the general public through the support of The City of Jacksonville's Office of the Mayors Health Programs, The City of Jacksonville's Hispanic Outreach and the Jacksonville Sister Cities Association.
This year's fair will offer even more services for mothers to be, seniors, caregivers, pediatric care, mental health and overall family wellness, not to mention legal services, real estate, financial and assistance programs offered by the City of Jacksonville and other nonprofit organizations. As part of the services offered in this multicultural event, the fair will also be offering translation srvices for attendees who apeak other languages.
"We wish to extend our thanks to all who have supported our event in the past and welcome you to do sao again this year." Said Arlene.
